Experience

since 2019: Head of Technical Section

Support the realization of cutting-edge instrumentation projects foundational to astronomical research at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP).

2009 – 2019: Postdoctoral researcher and project manager at the research section Physics of the Sun

Managed hardware contributions to the instrument for ESA’s Solar Orbiter mission, ensuring successful design, development, and integration of key hardware components at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP).

2005 – 2009: PhD student / Solar Physics Researcher

Focused on the study of solar flares and particle acceleration within flare plasma, developing a new model for the generation of energetic electrons using simplified coronal current systems at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP).

2003 – 2005: Diploma / Guest student

Focused on solar physics, studying energetic electron transport in flare and interplanetary plasmas at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP).
